One-to-one Counselling

Some individuals affected by redundancy require more than information and advice. They might require confidence rebuilding or assistance in identifying strengths, achievements and transferrable skills.

Our Occupational Guidance Consultants work closely with participants to establish experience, skills, needs, aspirations and personal circumstances – commonly called personal profiling and self-awareness. Together they identify new options, self marketing techniques and define goals.

This is often achieved through proven counselling techniques, but we can also use recognised and established assessment tools.

Each participant will receive a copy of ‘Effective Job Hunting’ – a manual prepared by rcg.

Our consultants also provide support for those individuals who require more intensive practical coaching in interviewing or CV preparation.

All sessions can be supplemented with telephone/email support.
