FAQs

ULN and Ofqual number explained

What is my ULN?

Your unique learner number (ULN) is a 10-digit number that belongs to you. It stays with you for life and links your learning and qualification records.

Where can I find my ULN?

Your training provider or employer can tell you. It may also be on your apprenticeship paperwork, earlier qualification certificates, or your Personal Learning Record on GOV.UK.

How is it different from RN6118?

Your ULN identifies you. RN6118 is Railway Competence Group's Ofqual recognition number. It identifies us as the organisation that assessed you. The GOV.UK service may ask for both.
