RCG achieves ISO 42001 certification for AI management

Railway Competence Group (RCG) is proud to announce that we have achieved certification to ISO/IEC 42001:2023, the international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems.

The certification confirms that the way we develop and use AI is planned, controlled and regularly reviewed, with clear responsibility for its safe, fair and transparent use.

What is ISO 42001?

Published in 2023, ISO/IEC 42001 is the world's first management system standard for artificial intelligence. It sets out how organisations should govern AI across its full lifecycle, from identifying risks and protecting data to monitoring performance and keeping people in control of important decisions.

What our certification covers

Our certification covers the provision of apprenticeship assessment, train driver psychometric testing, private psychometric assessment, training, software, applications and AI-supported software development for the railway sector within the UK.
