Cancellations Policy  

This policy is compliant with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (“the Regulations”) 

If we (“RCG”) cancel your psychometric test: - 

• We will notify you via email as soon as we are aware that we need to cancel. 

• In the event of exceptional circumstances (such as staff sickness, emergency at the venue etc.) we may need to cancel the testing at very short notice. We will make every effort to let you know in advance and to re-book your test on a suitable date. 

• We will contact you to re-arrange another suitable date and location. You will not be charged additional fees. 

• Should you not wish to accept an alternative provider or to rearrange your testing date you will be offered a full refund which will be returned via your chosen method of payment (i.e. bank transfer or credit/debit card refund) within 14 days. 

• When booking RCG require you to provide certain information such as your National Insurance Number and declare if you have attempted the assessment centre previously and not attempted the assessment centre within the previous six months. If you provide incorrect information and we must cancel as a result, you will be liable for a cancellation fee of 100% 

If you cancel your psychometric test: - 

• All bookings will be accepted on the basis that you agree with this cancellations policy. 

• You must notify RCG as soon as you are aware that you would like to cancel in writing via post, email or telephone. 

• If you do not pay the invoice by the date stated your test will be automatically cancelled and refunds processed as per the provisions below. 

• You are entitled to a statutory “cooling off period” of 14 days. If you decide to cancel within 14 days of confirming the booking you will receive a full refund less a £199.99 non-refundable deposit. 

• If the test is due to take place within 14 days of confirming the booking you agree to waive the cancellation rights as per the Regulations and the below fees apply. 

• If you cancel within 14 days of your test you will be charged 100% of the testing fee and will not receive a refund. 

• If you cancel within 14-21 days of your test you will be charged 50% of the testing fee and you will receive a refund of 50%. 

• If you cancel with at least 21 days’ notice you will receive a 100% refund less a £199.99 non-refundable deposit. Please note that if you originally paid via credit or with debit card you will be charged a £10 admin fee. 

If you wish to change the date of your test: - 

• You must notify RCG as soon as you are aware that you would like to change the date of your assessment writing via post, email or telephone. 

• If you decide to change the date of your assessment within 14 days of confirming the booking you will be charged a £199.99 admin fee. The below points supersede this clause. 

• If you wish to change within 14 days of your test you will be charged 100% of the testing fee to rebook. 

• If you wish to change within 14-21 days of your test you will be charged an additional 50% of the testing fee to rebook. 

• If you decide to change the date of your assessment and provide us with at least 21 days’ notice you will be charged a £199.99 admin fee.
